Why you can trust the numbers

Positions come from the JPL DE440 ephemeris — the same planetary data NASA uses — and are verified against JPL Horizons to fractions of an arcsecond. Boundary instants are solved exactly, never estimated. Where traditions legitimately differ (three respected sunrise definitions span seven minutes), we never pick one silently: every result carries a stamp naming its convention, and you can switch presets to match the pañcāṅga your family follows. And when an input is genuinely ambiguous — a birth time inside a daylight-saving fold — we say so plainly instead of handing you a chart that looks right and isn't.

People make real decisions with these numbers. We treat that seriously.
