A moon-sign (janma-rāśi) feed, and it says so. Verdicts follow Phaladeepika's transit table with vedha; timings are computed; the tradition layer is labeled and cited — never blended with the facts. No lucky colours, no percentages: no citable rule exists for them.

Traditional interpretation — Varāhamihira and the later compilations · Bṛhat Jātaka XVI, the birth-star qualities chapter, for temperament; Horā Sāra ch. 28 and the Mānasāgarī compilation for the further transmission; nakṣatra deities and lords per the classical Vimśottarī scheme
Ārdrā, the moist one, belongs to Rudra, the storm-archer, and its Vimśottarī lord is Rāhu — a birth here opens Rāhu's daśā. On this star's character the classical lineages are unanimously harsh, and the harshness is stated here as theirs rather than softened: Varāhamihira's line reads insincere, irascible, ungrateful and given to wicked deeds; Horā Sāra reads a wavering, crafty speaker who takes what is not his; the Mānasāgarī compilation reads ungrateful, high-tempered and mean. On fortune, though, the lineages contradict one another outright — Horā Sāra grants self-respect, long life and royal money where Mānasāgarī strips the native of wealth — and that disagreement is transmitted as such.
All of this is the texts' reading of a type, era-scoped, never a verdict on a person born under the star; the storm-and-clearing symbolism popular accounts favour is deity register, later than these verses. And the chapters condition their own severity: Varāhamihira grants full effect only to a powerful Moon, Horā Sāra to a star kept in benefic company — so the Moon's dignity in Gemini, its pada, the aspects that steady it and the shape of the opening Rāhu daśā decide how much of the transmitted register applies, and the computed facts on this page say which shelters are present.
Tradition, not fact
The tara cycle and the latta rules are TRADITION; the timings and positions are computed. The two are never blended.
Tara cycle: Kalaprakashika ch. XXXIII (the registered muhurta.tarabala three-cycle convention governs the Moon rows); latta: Phaladeepika XXVI.42-47 (study gochara-rashifal-2026-07-30.md). Extending the tara count to non-Moon grahas is MODERN PRACTICE with no classical chapter — those rows say practice: 'modern'.
Boundary times are root-found and residual-verified, never interpolated. Change the convention and these numbers change — which is why it is printed beside them.
