A moon-sign (janma-rāśi) feed, and it says so. Verdicts follow Phaladeepika's transit table with vedha; timings are computed; the tradition layer is labeled and cited — never blended with the facts. No lucky colours, no percentages: no citable rule exists for them.

Traditional interpretation — Varāhamihira and the later compilations · Bṛhat Saṁhitā, the birth-star qualities chapter, for temperament; nakṣatra deities and lords per the classical Vimśottarī scheme; the fuller janma-nakṣatra phala as transmitted in the later compilations
Puṣya, the nourisher, is ruled by Bṛhaspati, priest of the gods, while its Vimśottarī lord is Saturn — a pairing the tradition finds apt: sanctity carried with discipline. A birth here opens Saturn's daśā. Varāhamihira's line gives a calm, well-liked, fortunate and learned temperament, and the wider tradition holds Puṣya the most auspicious of the twenty-seven for most undertakings — the udder of the cow, the star that feeds.
The high reputation is classical; the detailed life-readings attached to it are largely the work of later compilations, and the distinction is kept here. Nor does auspiciousness exempt the star from conditions: the texts weigh the Moon's dignity in Cancer, its own sign, together with the pada, the aspects falling on it and the tenor of the opening Saturn daśā — the computed chart carries those facts and says which qualify the promise.
No latta doṣa falls on this star today.
Tradition, not fact
The tara cycle and the latta rules are TRADITION; the timings and positions are computed. The two are never blended.
Tara cycle: Kalaprakashika ch. XXXIII (the registered muhurta.tarabala three-cycle convention governs the Moon rows); latta: Phaladeepika XXVI.42-47 (study gochara-rashifal-2026-07-30.md). Extending the tara count to non-Moon grahas is MODERN PRACTICE with no classical chapter — those rows say practice: 'modern'.
Boundary times are root-found and residual-verified, never interpolated. Change the convention and these numbers change — which is why it is printed beside them.
