On the dating: All three held copies are the Kṛṣṇa-līlā purāṇa in ten khaṇḍas. The real astrological Garga — the Vṛddha-Gārgīya Jyotiṣa, among the oldest strata of Indian astral science and heavily drawn on by Varāhamihira — could not be obtained from any open source and remains a known gap.
