What our reading found

Findings from this project's own verification passes — recorded because a source's defects are part of citing it honestly.

The Vasudev edition’s interleaved notes carry an unattributed 20th-century Western sun-sign overlay: five of our own shipped Sun-in-sign entries were found matching its closing paragraphs nearly sentence-for-sentence — Western commentary printed beside a classical text and inherited as though classical. Only the verse-translation portions are seatable; the notes are digest at best. This is the corpus’s canonical overlay hazard.
