A tightly versified predictive manual — the text the practicing tradition actually reaches for on houses, yogas and transits.
Planet and house results (the bhāva-phala chapters around chapter VIII are the planets-in-houses backbone), the yoga chapter (VI: Mahāpuruṣa, Kemadruma, viparīta), longevity, daśā results (XX), women’s charts, and the transit chapter (XXVI) with its vedha (obstruction) doctrine.
Its role in this app
Second only to BPHS in load. Our transit verdict table is XXVI.3–8 — favourable houses from the Moon-sign plus per-house vedha, verified digit-for-digit in two scans — and our 36-pair vedha map re-derives from its ślokas exactly. The classical layer of sāḍhe-sātī is XXVI.22–23, and XXVI.33 carries a 12/8/1 danger-triple the market never quotes. The viparīta definitions VI.57 (default) and VI.70 (full conditions) are our registered axis, with XV.9’s weaker-lord-deeper-reversal doctrine underneath; VI.5 is the Kemadruma variant; VI.4 reads Mahāpuruṣa from lagna or Moon; XX.45 contradicts BPHS 34.15, which is why that cancellation ships as a flag; the 16° combustion table is a selectable axis value.

What our reading found
Findings from this project's own verification passes — recorded because a source's defects are part of citing it honestly.
All three assessed files are the same Sastri translation — one lineage in three copies — and the corpus holds no usable Sanskrit Phaladīpikā (the interleaved Devanāgarī is OCR junk). That blocks resolving the disputed connective in VI.57, which is a Sanskrit question.
